Ebola News

ALERT

Ebola is a rare but serious disease caused by a virus that can lead to severe illness and, in some cases, death. According to the CDC, Ebola spreads through direct contact with the blood or body fluids of an infected person or contaminated objects. Symptoms can appear 2 to 21 days after exposure and often begin with fever, fatigue, muscle aches, and headache before progressing to vomiting, diarrhea, and sometimes unexplained bleeding. While Ebola is highly dangerous, it is not spread through the air like the flu or COVID-19, and people are not contagious until they develop symptoms.
